This position is based in Laurens County and is responsible for paraprofessional work under the supervision of the Family & Consumer Sciences County Extension Agent in a Food and Nutrition Education program. The employee must exhibit qualities of independent judgment. Work is performed under general supervision. Must be able to relate effectively to young people and adults. Strong communication skills and experience interacting with diverse groups of people.  Responsible for teaching nutrition classes to low-income families with children and older youth so they know how to purchase and prepare safe and healthy foods.  This job requires doing food demonstrations.  For more information, please see the job listing or contact us at 478-272-2277.  This is a full-time, 40 hour per week job and pays $27,000.00/year with benefits including Teacher’s Retirement.  Some night and weekend work may be required but not often.  This position’s tentative start date is July 2021.

GENERAL HELP WANTED

The city of Dublin is accepting applications for a School Crossing Guard. This is a part-time position and individual will work 10 hours per week. This individual will assist with children crossing the roadway and assist with busses and car rider departure. 
Starting salary is $7.25 per hour. Successful applicant must pass a drug screen, possess a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants will be accepted in the Human Resources department located at City Hall 100 S. Church Street until 4:30pm, Tuesday, August 3, 2021. EOE.
